Choreography & performance

My choreographic research is firmly based on a multidisciplinary approach. With a background in Bharatanatyam, which does not distinguish between dance and theatre, my work naturally draws from various performative practices such as dance, clown-theatre, text, and music.

However, dance remains to be my returning home-base, where all my other languages seek refuge and merge together.

Interdisciplinary artistic collaborations

Over the past 17 years of my work, interdisciplinarity has become a necessary tool in my artistic practice.

To sustain my work in this direction, I founded INFLUX - Network for Dance, Theatre and Performance in 2017. INFLUX is a network of artists from various disciplines, creating works across genres of performing arts.

Classes & workshops

Teaching has been an essential way of deconstructing my practice. I am particularly committed to facilitating my practice to non-dancers / non-performers, as a means of bringing art into every day life.
